Event Brokers, LLC runs Ever Yours. This explains what we collect, why we have it, who else touches it, and how to make it go away. It is written to be read rather than to be defensible.
The short version
We hold what you type into your wedding site and what your guests reply. We do not sell it, we do not advertise, and we do not track you across other websites. Your wedding site is public by design — that is what it is for — and your guest list is not.
What we collect
Nothing here is optional-but-hidden; it is all what you entered.
- Your account
- The email address you sign in with. We never see or store a password — signing in is a link we email you, or your Google account if you choose that.
- Your wedding
- Both partners' names, the date, venue names and addresses you enter, your schedule, your story and FAQ text, your chosen web address, and the look you pick.
- Photographs
- The hero photograph and any gallery photographs you upload. These are stored in public cloud storage: anyone with the direct link can view them, in the same way your wedding site itself is public.
- Your guest list
- The names, email addresses, and which side of the wedding they are on, for the people you add or import. We do not collect guest phone numbers or postal addresses.
- Replies from your guests
- Whether each guest is coming to each event, their meal choice, any note they leave — which is where dietary and accessibility needs are usually written — and any plus-one they add.
- Payment
- If you upgrade, Stripe processes the payment. Card details go to Stripe and never reach our systems; we record that a payment happened and its amount.
Guests did not sign up for this
Most people whose data we hold never made an account: their details were added by the couple. We treat that seriously. Guest data is used only to run that one wedding — showing the right invitation, recording a reply, sending a confirmation — and for nothing else. We do not email guests except on the couple’s behalf, and we never contact them about Ever Yours.
A guest who wants their details removed can ask the couple, who can delete them outright. They can also write to us and we will act on it.
Who else touches it
We use a small number of services to run this, and each sees only what it needs.
- Supabase
- Database, sign-in, and photograph storage
- Vercel
- Hosting and content delivery
- Stripe
- Payment processing, if you upgrade
- Resend
- Sending invitations, reminders, and confirmations
- Sign-in, only if you choose to use it
Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our systems. We record that a payment happened and what it was for.
Cookies
Five, all of them functional — none advertise, none profile, and none are shared with anyone.
- Supabase auth token
- Keeps you signed in to your dashboard. Until you sign out or it expires.
- everyours_draft_site
- Remembers which unclaimed site this browser made, so you can come back and claim it. Not readable by page scripts. 14 days, extended each time you visit your own site.
- everyours_draft_slug
- The web address of that same unclaimed site, so the page can offer to claim it without a server request. 14 days.
- everyours_guest
- Set on a guest's browser after they find their invitation, so they can reply without entering their code again. Signed, and scoped to one party. Until the browser is closed or it expires.
- everyours_current_site
- Remembers which of your sites the dashboard is on, if you have more than one. A preference only — it is checked against your own account on every read, so it grants no access by itself. A year, or until you switch sites.
How long we keep it
Your wedding site and everything in it stays until you delete it. We are not going to quietly remove your wedding because you did not log in for a while.
One exception: a site that was started and never claimed by an account is deleted after 30 days, and only if it has no guests and no replies. A site that anybody has actually replied to is kept.
Deleting it
Settings has a delete button. It asks you to type your web address to confirm, and then it removes the site, your schedule, your guest list, every reply, and every photograph you uploaded — including photographs you had replaced. It cannot be undone and we do not keep a copy.
If you want a copy first, export your guest list and replies as a CSV from the Guests page before you delete.
What you can ask for
Access to what we hold, a copy of it, correction of it, or its deletion. The guest list and replies you can get yourself, immediately, as a CSV; for anything else, ask and we will do it.
Age
Ever Yours is for people 18 and over. It is not for children, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If a guest on somebody’s list is a child, we hold whatever the couple entered about them — usually a name — and we would rather you told us than not.
Where this applies
We are in the United States and this beta is offered there. Data is stored and processed in the United States. This policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States.
Changes
If we change this in a way that matters, we will email the address you signed in with. The date at the top is the day the words last changed.
Reaching us
Ever Yours is in closed beta and does not yet publish a support address. Reply to any email we have sent you, or contact whoever invited you to the beta, and it will reach us.
